I
am pleased to be the new Executive Director for Family
Promise of North Idaho. My husband, children and I
served as hosts with Family Promise through the Bozeman
church of Christ. Our four and six year olds ask
weekly with anticipation, “Is it a Family Promise
night?” We have thoroughly enjoyed being hosts.
I
worked in Campus Ministry for the past 8 years where I
helped college students grow into adult leaders. Before
this I worked with developmentally disabled young adults
helping them cope and develop life skills. Whether it
is leading in Children’s Ministry, parenting my own
children or counseling preteens, I have spent many hours
nurturing and loving children. I am ready to put my
experience and passion to work serving the needs of
families. Family Promise gives me the opportunity to
practice compassion and justice in this way. I invite
the community to participate as well.
I
received a BA from the University of Idaho and an MS is
from Pepperdine. As an Idaho native, I am pleased to
be back home. I have been married 13 years and have two
creative kids. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending
time with family, listening to Bluegrass and 80’s music
(who doesn’t?), hiking, running and laughing as much as
I can. And, I like drinking coffee with friends every
chance I get.
