​Community Engagement / Volunteer Coordinator

An Americorps Vista Position
This is a development position that expands our reach by creating partnerships with the community, developing and overseeing the program volunteer team.  This vital position assures that homeless families have overnight shelter and transportation.

  • One-year service commitment
  • The position will require 32 to 40 hours per week
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and can drive per our insurance policy.
  • Nominal  Stipend Allowance of $472.22 biweekly
  • Benefits: End of Service Education Award $5,920

  2. Are a self-motivated goal oriented team player
  3. Are skilled at recruiting, coordinating and encouraging volunteers
  4. Are creative with special projects like celebrations, bulletin boards and trade tables
  5. Are comfortable promoting programs through Facebook, newsletters, email, fliers and events/presentations
